Standard operating procedure (SoP) of all Assam federation of veteran’s association (AAFVA)

 

  1. Reasons for raising of AAFVA : Keeping in the view of anomalies of OROP-2 and same other problems, at all india level, total 57 various associations have come forwarded and agreed to re-organized as a “All India Federation of Veteran’s Association” Now Delhi.
  1. Area of responsibilities: Border of Assam as indicated in political map will be the area of responsibilities of AAFVA. As on date, there are total 32 districts in the state will be considered as units of federation’s including their anchalik units.
  1. Registration procedure of AAFVA: Keeping in the view of difficulties of registration with Govt. of Assam under Society Registration Act- XXI, 1860, the new NGO “All Assam Federation of Veteran’s Association” decided to use the registration certification of “Edupur Foundation, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Regd. under Section-8 MCA, Govt. of India, No: U85300AS2022NPL022893, NGO DARPAN regd. by NITI Aayog. No: AS/2022/0315062, PAN No: AAHCE0211H, Regd. Trademark No: 4078328 by Intellectual Property Rights, 80G Pro. regd. No: AAHCE0211HF20221, issued by Income Tax Department, Govt. of India having its registered office at Edupur, Tribeni Complex, 2nd Floor, PO & PS: Tezpur, Sonitpur, Assam, Pin – 784001 to achieve the Aim and Objectives of the newly formed AAFVA. This is to inform to all that, Edupur is working for Welfare of Veterans, Local Army, KSB, RSB, ZSB, Assam Police and District Administration, State and Central University, Colleges and Schools since 2013.
  1. Aim and Objectives:
  1. Maintaining of Account & Auditing Procedure: AAFVA will also responsible to maintain the account in double entry system SBI account have to be opened in a Nationalized or Semi Govt. Bank and handle by president, general secretary and auditor of the NGO as per norms of banking system guided by the RBI. After same time, general secretary, account both will be treated as drawing and disbursing officer of the NGO in consultation with president. Every month on the day of 7th the account of privies month must be closed in DE system. Every year in the month of April, duly audited by a chartered accountant, audit report, annual activity report should be forwarded to Edupur Foundation for their scrutiny and onward submission to central govt. for extension of registration with Edupur Foundation. Based on our letter addressed to Edupur Foundation, they had confirmed that, AAFVA has not to pay any fee for the registration or renewal.  
  2. Formation of Main/Sub Committees: The tenure of the committee and Sub -Committee will be worked for Financial Calendar year i.e. April to March. The members of the committee will be selected during general meeting of the all Assam level.  
  3. Points for Functioning of WhatsApp group, Legal Sub-Committee, Publicity cum organizing sub-committee, land purchasing cum construction of offices/community hall, war widows and ladies sub-committee may please be fwd by all districts for our compilation.
